Anthro Autumn Diffuser Blend Recipe

Anthro Autumn Diffuser Blend Recipe

A few months back I posted my Anthropologie diffuser blend recipe which is a dupe of Capri Blue Volcano candles. I’m always on the hunt for diffuser blends that rival toxic candles because as I have admitted many times, I have a big tendency to burn toxic candles, especially in the fall. While diffusing does not replace the cozy magic of the flame of a candle, it can replace the toxic fragrance, toxic wax and toxic wick of most candles we buy today. Diffusing essential oils in water is a great way to give your house a strong scent that covers a large amount of square space. So, since it is fall and Anthropologie has a knack of capturing the  scent of the season, let’s make a diffuser bomb that you can diffuse all autumn long to give your home that warm, sweet scent of fall.

Which Candle is the “Anthro Fall Diffuser Blend”?

Ha-well this is funny. We know that Anthropology stores have a signature blend that is Capri Blue Volcano and if you go to the store during fall and the holidays you will see tons of different fall candles for sale and many stores have those burning instead of Volcano. I went to the store specifically trying to find the candle that is being duped in this recipe and walked out empty handed. I wanted to buy it so that I could fine tune this recipe to the best of my ability. There were so many options and none of them made sense that they would be this particular recipe. Come to find out, this blend is made up to mimic the vibe of the store during the fall. There is no exact candle it’s formulated after.

I think “Anthro autumn diffuser blend” is made up by the Young Living VIPs. Because many Young Living sellers have huge followings on social media, this blend has become well known and it is assumed by most that it is a dupe of an exact candle.

Since there is no candle to go off of, I did not come up with this recipe. I first found it on one of my very favorite home decor and essential oil recipe accounts, Nesting with Grace. She deserves the credit. I am simply sharing because I love the scent and as I stated in my most recent post of two pumpkin spice home recipes, I am always on a mission for finding scents and fragrances that quench my insatiable need for pumpkin spice! And if I can do that in a healthy way, that’s a big win!

This recipe calls for Young Living’s Christmas Spirit blend. I duped this blend not long ago and I must say, it is my most diffused scent besides lavender. I love this scent and even make it as gifts for friends and family. It’s a simple blend with sweet orange, cinnamon bark and northern lights black spruce. If you don’t have the blend but still want to make this recipe, my Anthro autumn recipe breaks down each oil in case you don’t have the Christmas Spirit Blend! I’m also giving you a single serving recipe as well as a bomb recipe. An essential oil diffuser bomb is a recipe formulated to allow you to use it many times rather than just once.

Anthro Autumn Diffuser Blend (Single):

Anthro Autumn Diffuser Blend (Bomb)

This recipe is for a 1/2 ounce (15ml) bottle. There is approximately 280-300 drops per 1/2 ounce.

How to Diffuse Anthro Autumn:

  • Fill your diffuser to the designated water line.
  • Add 8-12 drops of Anthro autumn diffuser blend.
  • Turn on the diffuser and enjoy!

Where to Find the Best Essential Oils:

Not oils are equal and when I first made this blend I used a very cheap orange oil. I keep orange oil on hand for cleaning it is not the highest quality. I was excited to try this blend out and ended up using my cheap orange oil and thought this blend smelled strange. I decided to get a better quality orange oil and that made all the difference. I also found that this blend smells even better after it’s sit for a day or so so if you end up trying out the single serving recipe and liking it, I highly recommend making the 1/2 ounce bomb. I say all this to say, where you get essential oils, even if they are strictly for diffusing, matters. If you don’t have these oils on hand, I’ve linked  to my essential oil brand of choice, Plant Therapy. They are high quality, provide transparent quality control documentation and are very affordable with fast free shipping!

I love fall and I hope you enjoy this blend. I also have even more fall blend recipes you might want to try! I think it’s the spice of life when you lean into seasons. How do you lean into fall? I’d love to know!!

xx, Jenni
